Payment Methods at cotton ART®

Different payment methods are available for online orders and individual customization projects. The payment methods offered depend on the ordering process, type of order, customer status and the result of any required credit assessment.

The payment methods available for your order are shown during checkout, in your individual quotation or in the order confirmation. For individually embroidered or printed textiles, production begins only after all order details have been clarified, payment has been received and final approval has been given.

Online Payment Methods

PayPal

After selecting PayPal, you will be redirected to PayPal's payment environment. Log in to your PayPal account and confirm the payment. Once successfully authorized, the payment confirmation is transmitted to our online shop.

PayPal Buyer Protection may apply to eligible transactions. The current eligibility requirements, terms and exclusions of PayPal apply exclusively.

Credit Card

Depending on checkout availability and card authorization, you can pay in our online shop using cards including Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Technical payment processing is handled by the payment service provider shown during checkout.

The timing of authorization and charging depends on the specific payment transaction, the card provider's terms and the process displayed during checkout.

Apple Pay & Google Pay

Apple Pay or Google Pay may be available in our online shop if the payment method is supported for your device, browser, country and registered card. Authorization is completed through the respective wallet using the security method configured there.

Advance Payment by Bank Transfer

For advance payment, please transfer the amount stated in your order confirmation to the cotton ART GmbH business account specified there. Please include the quotation, order or purchase number as the payment reference so that your payment can be assigned correctly.

Start of Production for Customized Orders

Receipt of payment alone does not automatically start production. All products, quantities, files, customization positions and design approvals must also be fully confirmed. For embroidery orders, series production begins only after approval of the original embroidery sample.

Payment by Invoice for B2B Customers

Payment by invoice with an agreed payment term may be offered to selected business customers. Approval is not automatic and depends on customer status, legal form, order value and a positive credit assessment.

Companies

Payment by invoice may be approved in particular for limited liability companies and public limited companies following a successful assessment. The binding payment term is stated in the quotation, order confirmation or invoice.

Public-Sector Customers

Public authorities, public institutions and government bodies may be supplied on invoice following review and written confirmation.

Credit Assessment & Alternative Payment Methods

Information from independent credit agencies may be considered when assessing eligibility for payment by invoice. Depending on the result, we reserve the right to offer advance payment, a deposit or another available payment method. There is no entitlement to payment by invoice.

Payment on Collection

For pre-arranged collection, payment on site may be possible. Depending on the available payment terminal, we accept cash, Girocard with PIN or credit card. Please arrange collection and the payment method with our team in advance.

Production & Delivery Times

Standard Production

Usually 18–21 working days after receipt of payment, complete clarification of all order details and final approval. For embroidery orders, the original embroidery sample must also have been approved.

Express & Deadline-Sensitive Orders

Express production within approximately 10 working days may be agreed following prior assessment, subject to availability and an additional charge. Fixed deadlines must be confirmed in writing before the order is placed.

Production times do not include shipping transit time. Product availability, subsequent changes or delayed approvals may affect the expected delivery date.

Why Is a Payment Method Not Displayed During Checkout?

Availability may depend on the order value, destination country, device, browser, card provider, type of order or the result of an automated assessment.

Can Every Company Order on Invoice?

No. Payment by invoice is available only after review and written approval. Depending on the result, another payment method may be required.

Does Production Start Immediately After Online Payment?

Not automatically. In addition to payment, we require all order details and your final approval. For embroidery orders, the original embroidery sample must also be approved.

Can I Change a Payment Method I Have Already Selected?

Please contact us before making payment. Whether a change is possible depends on the current processing status and the requested payment method.

Where Can I Find the Bank Details?

The bank details and correct payment reference are stated in your order confirmation or invoice. Please use only the details provided there.
